Must-Watch Timeless Movies

There are movies that are so great that even time wouldn’t erase them from our memories. Let’s dig into these classics. If by any chance you haven’t watched them, it’s that you do.

Fight Club

“We buy things we don’t need with money, we don’t have to impress people we don’t like” – Chuck Palahniuk

Edward Norton is a depressed man consumed by his job and his desires to lead a perfect life. He got to a point where he lost everything then, he met Tyler Durden, a radical man who would change his life forever. With their perfect partnership, they established the fight club. It consists of men tired of living their mundane life. And from there, things get complicated. Their life is not like the Amsterdam holiday, it’s full of an almost impossible quest. They remind us that in life we get to make our choices, don’t let the world tell you otherwise.

To Kill A Mockingbird

“Shoot all the bluejays you want, if you can hit ‘em, but remember it’s a sin to kill a Mockingbird.” – Harper Lee

To Kill A Mockingbird teaches us a valuable lesson that irrational thinking is like a disease. It poisons your belief and perception about the things going around you. Our judgmental society keeps us from being truly humans and prevents us from making the right decisions. We try to mingle with the society judging us by what we wear from online shops like lazada and zalora instead of looking at the contents of our heart. This movie is a tear-jerker. It’s a good movie for your children. It’s a life operating manual.

Shawshank Redemption

“The funny thing is, on the outside, I was an honest man. Straight as an arrow. I had to come to prison to be a crook.” – Andy Dufresne

prisonShawshank Redemption is about the imprisonment of an innocent man. He was accused of a murder. Though he is in prison, he never lost hope. He met inmates who became his friends. Life in prison is not easy. It’s going to change you as a person and will get you accustomed to being caged. But Andy is different. He is a pure soul with a lot of wits. This movie teaches us that every small progress makes a difference.
